Montblanc 1858 Geosphere CARBO₂ 0 Oxygen Limited Edition – 1969 pieces

With this limited edition timepiece showcasing a design as strong as the innovation within, Montblanc pushes the concept of oxygen – the central element in any intrepid ascent – even further than before. The watch case material, the CARBO₂, is created using a pioneering process development that captures CO₂ from biogas production and mineral wastes from recycling factories. Reinforcing the theme of adventure, the 43.5 mm case totally devoid of oxygen comes with an engraved luminous blue outline of the Mont Blanc Mountain on the side while a 3D colored laser engraving of the Mont Blanc mountain adorns the titanium case back. The timepiece is powered by the MB 29.25 automatic movement with Montblanc’s Manufacture worldtime complication, which includes rotating Northern and Southern Hemisphere globes, a 24-hour scale, Day & Night indications, dual time display, and a date. Completing the timepiece is a black interchangeable rubber strap featuring a taper and a fine adjustment system, with the pattern reminiscent of the textiles used by mountaineers.
